okay this is gona be a long long long post. its about what happened on the 5th,6th and 7th. lol. im losing track of the days in the holidays.
5th Dec, Sunday
ran my first marathon and sad to say, i didnt meet my own expectations. well, but the race was fun. started at 6.40am at sentosa. the crowd there was unbelievable. ran with zhenzi,yufeng at the start. met zhiyuan, daryl and yile in sentosa running too. the route through sentosa was good, through resort world sentosa, then into universal studios. inside universal studios, there were a lot of mascots waving flags n cheering for the runners. and the place is nice. must make a point to go there someday. then as i exited universal studios, i started to walk. walked quite a fair bit. walk and jog past the sentosa bridge before turning in to this expressway which was totally a horrible route to run. lol. 1km on the bridge felt so long as compared to 1km in sentosa. started to cramp horribly there and when i went down the bridge, i almost couldnt walk. had to sit down at the medic tent twice after the bridge to rest. my both thighs were like swollen and i got quite a shock. now i realise why people were all asking for a lot of deep heat. cos it really helps. then walked back the remaining 4km. and certainly, after all these walking n resting, my timing isnt very good. an embrassing 3:52. sian. im gona re run the 21km again. most probably for the adidas sundown marathon. but its on the 28th may, and my enlistment is on the 5th may. so i will definitely be in camp. the question is will i be able to make it for the run on time? gotta check what time do people leave camp on friday, if i can leave in the first place. im definitely going to try again, until i get a satisfying timing for myself. its just horrible this time round. lol.
6th Dec, Monday
its prom that day. woke up and went to the salon to do my hair. lol. i told the lady to cut and style. then went to clementi to meet yy to write a card for kathy, bought koi and then left for home to bring my stuff to hong yee hse to cab to hilton hotel. raining and i got drenched. plus after the marathon the previous day, i couldnt really walk that fast. well, then changed and cabbed down to hilton hotel. as usual, at prom, u see a lot of unfamiliar faces. people that u know seem to look totally different that day. pjc prom was better than the ntss one. we got the muttons as our mcs for the day and they were one of the better ones i seen. we started late as usual, lol. took quite a lot of photos that day. especially with the someone :D photos are all on fb. i might post some tmr if i got the mood. and that usually mean that there is a 20% chance of my posting. quite sad that i didnt win any lucky draw prizes. there was an ipad, netbook, shopping vouchers and much more. ohhh and im surprised that adam won the best dressed award. lol. not that im not happy with him or what but i seriously feel that there are others that should get the award. i think jianhui stands a chance. he dressed up like taeyang that day and danced to wedding dress on stage. LOL. and i met him earlier at clementi when i was going to meet yy. he was wearing a cap then so i didnt see his new hairstyle. hmm then after prom, wanted to go butter factory, but that place was crowded to the max. if we were to queue up, it might take us 1 hour. dean managed to go in though, through the expert queue-cutting skills and wide range of contacts learned in ntss. lol. went to some other place instead at clarke quay. seriously i find that butter factory would be a better place to go despite the queue cos at least the people there are of our age and the place is big. the place we went to that day, was some small dingy pub that looks like its being operated by underworld of the streets of spore. almost met with a small mishap which i find it slightly inappropriate to write here. but everyone was singing ktv quite happily there. left the place at 3 and cabbed home with qijie,honghui,weilun and jolene. the taxi uncle keep talking to me. lol reached home about 4 and fell asleep at abt 530. and i shall continue the rest in the next segment cos its the next day alrd.
7th Dec, Tuesday
woke up at about 130? then finish reading my new book on angels at 4. its really a cool book and i cant wait to get the second book in the series. i think i have an interest in religious lore and symbology (firefox says the word should by symbolism). the angel names are quite cool too, like verchiel. then after that, i rotted at home. lol. was so bored that i played battleon, and i am downloading maple to play with wongchong. dont feel like watching drama all of a sudden. then as maple is downloading, which is a startling 13 hours, i went to mofunzone.com and played the whole of crimson warfare. its quite a noisy game because of the shooting and dying noise. lol. then went to sleep at 4 cos i ended up talking to hongyee.
8th Dec, Wedday
woke up at 130 again. i shd really start to sleep early n wake up earlier. did nothing much until now. lol. going to hy house later to take back my slippers which i miss a lot.
hmmm i was thinking whether i should start talking to this special someone. but i think its very weird to do so cos after all, we are just mere acquaintances. how how how? stress stress stress. thats for now la. go back dling maple. ciao
